Testing Continues on Unit 1

This week, we’re continuing with the testing of unit 1 in the powerhouse. We have now filled Unit 1 with water. Water is now in the powerhouse (intake and draft tube areas) as seen in this graphic. During this process, we saw a small amount of water coming through the concrete which is normal. All of the concrete structures are behaving exactly as they should. We also rotated Unit 1 turbine for the first time.
